Event specialists, also known as event coordinators or event planners, are responsible for every aspect of event planning. Your main duties include selecting venues, arranging guest rooms determining the cost, arranging event services, and monitoring client approval. The most important aspect of the process is the communication with the client, as the event specialist you are the contactperson for the host and responsible for clear communication. The events department is a vibrant and busy place with lots of phone calls, colleagues from other departments and guests, all calling for your attention.
