International Hotel Capital Partners (IHCP) is now looking for a (Groups) Reservations Manager for its 5 operating hotels. As the leader of the reservations department, you will be overlooking our 4 reservations agents in their day to day tasks whilst working on a more general approach to incoming reservations. Your focus will be mainly on groups bookings where your team is more focused on individual reservations. Ofcourse you are able to coach them where needed, based on your experiences from the past. This role and opportunity gives you the possibility to develop the reservations department in a way that will benefit all our hotels and related departments. IHCP is the owning company of the Mercure Hotel Amersfoort Centre (Accor), the Renaissance Amsterdam Schiphol Airport Hotel (Marriott International), the Moxy Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (Marriott International) and the Moxy & Residence Inn The Hague (Marriott International). In this job you thus have to work with different market segments and core brands which will influence your day to day operation up to a certain point.


As a (Groups) Reservations Manager you are end responsible for processing all individual and group bookings with a friendly and authentic approach. You feel passionate about hospitality and will create an indigenous and personalized guest experience, together with your reservations team.


A successful (Groups) Reservations Manager is clear in communication, commercially oriented and a team player who likes to work closely together with our Sales, Revenue, Banqueting and Front Office departments to make sure the operations and information flow runs smoothly. In this role you will be part of our Commercial team, reporting to our Revenue/Reservations Manager.


Your day will consist of

  • Processing and checking guest room reservations by e-mail, phone and online reservation systems.

  • Coordinating availability, bookings and communication with guests through third party agents.

  • Creating offers, group contracts and handling modifications of meeting requests and group bookings.

  • Performing financial tasks such as creating pro forma invoices, checking final invoices and verifying commissions for both individual guests and groups.

  • Promoting and maintaining customer loyalty with our Marriott Bonvoy program.

  • Train our team on working as efficient as possible, whilst remain focused on quality.

  • Work together with the reactive Sales team to process group bookings (this is where your focus will mainly be).

  • Have a passion for hospitality.

  • Can communicate fluently in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

  • Have experience with a reservation system (preferably Opera/Marsha).
