We are searching for an All-Round Restaurant Waiter for our hotel, Moxy Brussels City Centre and its restaurant, The Fifty One.

We are now hiring a food and beverage professional in order to participate in the launch our new restaurant concept.

With our refreshed identity, our restaurant aims to become a hotspot that offers casual yet professional and personalized service in a cozy and homey atmosphere. You will work closely with the kitchen associates to ensure an excellent experience that will win our guests loyalty.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing a good mise en place for the service

• Welcoming guests in a warm and friendly way

• Keeping a complete knowledge of menu items, food sensitivities and possible substitutions

• Providing guests suggestions for food and drinks pairings

• Using upsell techniques to make the restaurant experience even more complete

• Serving all types of drinks and food

• Maintaining a good contact with guests to ensure full satisfaction

• Inform management about any complaints that could occur and follow the guidelines when it comes to resolution

• Taking orders and payments

• Flexible in preparing drinks and working in the bar area after your training

• Making sure that restaurant, bar and back office areas are clean at all times

• Show professionalism while being the face, the ambassador of our outlet

Your profile

You are passionate about food, beverages and service. You have a positive attitude, show flexibility, are a team player and you know to handle pressure.

Knowledge of English and French is a must, Dutch or other languages are a plus.
