MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Cook prepares beautiful dishes for our guests with passion. Supporting the Chef Cook, Sous Chef and Chef de Partie you prepare dishes or parts of dishes. The kitchen of Hotel Nassau Breda takes care of breakfast, lunch and dinner for bar Heiligdom, banqueting and room service. The main tasks involved are:

• Creative thinking in developing new dishes;

• Independent preparation of dishes with own planning for both cold and hot kitchen

•  Preparation of dishes according to requirements of quality, recipe and appearance;

• Ensuring that the quality of our dishes is always at the same high level;

•  Compliance with all standards associated with Marriott International & Autograph Collection.

THE POSITION

Hotel Nassau Breda is looking for you! Someone who works with enthusiasm and passion and wants to prepare high quality dishes for our guests and has the following qualities:

• Flexibly deployable within the team (banqueting, bar);

• Being able to manage a team independently;

• Being able to keep an overview in the kitchen;

• A passion for cooking with beautiful ingredients is a must;

• Interest in new techniques such as fermentation;

• Team player;
