Restaurant PLANTn, at PLANTn we are passionate about bringing vegetable dishes 24 hours a day. We offer breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. In this unique and relaxing bistro decor, our team brings together the best seasonal ingredients of our farm and local producers. In addition, our kitchen team uses preservation techniques such as pickling and fermenting to make the most of our precious ingredients and minimize waste.

THE POSITION

As a maintenance employee you perform preventive and regular maintenance and repairs to all areas of the hotel. You are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized maintenance shop and for the security of hotel inventory and assets such as tools, supplies, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Solve malfunctions and repairs of equipment, Sanitary facilities, Lighting, furniture, and locks;

• Perform (repairing) paintings;

• Report malfunctions of the power supply, central heating, elevators, etc., Hereafter, you check whether the malfunctions are properly solved;

• Performing standard controls and inspections by received checklist;

• You monitor the stock (for example: lamps, furniture and small equipment)

• Perform general proceedings such as connecting audiovisual equipment and cleaning of public areas and the outdoor area.

HOW YOU’LL DO IT

• You are the contact point for everything technically related. In order to do so you are able to set priorities and coordinate tasks.

• You are reliable and you can work independently;

• You have technical insight and affinity with repair work;

• Your character is social and service orientated; you enjoy associating with (international) guests plus you enjoy to work in an informal and ambitious working environment.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to meet the business needs of a 24/7 hotel environment, including weekends, and holidays;

• Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks;

• Your English is top-notch, as you’ll be in contact with a lot of guests with different backgrounds.

• You are quality and guest oriented.

• You are stress resistant.
