EXECUTIVE CHEF

As a chef you are passionate, a true leader, hard worker and creative. In our hotel you are responsible for multiple F&B outlets and a multi-cultural team. Our kitchen team offers a wide variety of food options; a l carte dishes for our restaurant and bar, 24 hour roomservice, extensive banqueting including lunch, dinner and breaks, fingerfood for our executive lounge and breakfast for our 306 bedrooms. As Chef you are responsible for a brigade of about 10 people from all over the world. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Setting and complying with SOPs

• Compliance with HACCP regulations and keeping checklists

• Maintaining Food Quality in all outlets

• Incorporating Marriott standards in the menus

• Creating and calculating the menus

• Checking the food cost and payroll

• Motivating and training the team

• You maintain good communication with the F&B Manager and Director of Operations

• Placing orders and checking the incoming products using packing slips

• As a Chef you work in the team, so you are still having fun making dishes

• Making rosters and vacation schedules of the team

• You are a member of the Management Team and therefore make an important contribution to the management consultation

• Strive to achieve departmental targets

• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation

You are:

• Passionate about hospitality and experienced in the (hotel) kitchen as a leader

• You have completed a related course and several years of work experience

• Flexible to work a varied schedule that may include mornings, evenings and weekends

• Positive attitude and commitment to delivering high levels of customer service

• You have the necessary creative ideas, and you can easily translate them on the plates of our guests

• You preferably speak Dutch and English

• Experience in a global Hotel chain is an advantage

• A team player

• Have an entrepreneurial mindset
