366 guests divided over 3 restaurants, 52 room service orders and over 450 dishes leaving the kitchen. That is what our ‘food calculator’ registered on the busiest day this year, and with the growth of travelers at Schiphol Airport we expect those numbers to keep on growing. To keep the service standards high and treat every guest as ‘King or Queen Of The Hotel’ we keep on developing our service team. That is why we are looking for a new F&B all-round associate.

About Sheraton Amsterdam

At Sheraton we are constantly watching, listening, tasting and adapting to the needs of our current guests and to attract a next generation of travelers. The hotel is only a short 2-minutes’ walk away from the airport’s terminals and 15 minutes away from Amsterdam city center. The Sheraton hotel at Schiphol exists almost 25 years and underwent a major renovation in 2021 of all the 417 rooms and public spaces.

What will you do as F&B all-round associate?

As a member of our F&B team, you will be the go-to person for our guests in our restaurants. Although no day looks the same in this role, you can find yourself doing anything from welcoming guests, serving drinks & food, give menu advice, all the way to showing off your barista skills at our new Commune Restaurant.

The job of a F&B all-round associate is highly versatile, flexible and focused completely around making people feel at ease during their entire time with us. You will work in 3 different outlets: the Stripes Restaurant, The Gate Bar in our Atrium and the new Commune Restaurant. Also the room service will be one of your specialties during your time at Sheraton.

You will need to love exceeding guests expectations, building a community for our regular guests and need to know exactly what our guests desire. • Experience is preferred, not required: we hire for attitude and train for skill

• ‘Teamwork makes the dream work’ – we are looking for an associate that is ready to be a team player.

• Your smile is important to us and to our guests.

• You are flexible in working hours and days: morning-, evening- and weekend shifts are part of your job.

• You have a permit to work in the European Union / The Netherlands.

• You speak English and/or Dutch.
