Who are we looking for?

  • EU- National, or legal working permit for The Netherlands

  • Hotel industry experience is preferred but not mandatory

  • Advanced level of English; Dutch not mandatory

  • Strong communication skills and team player

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment

  • Have high energy and a fearless do-it-yourself attitude

  • Desire to learn and develop

What will you do?

  • Work closely with the reception when our guests arrive, eat breakfast, or attend the after-work reception. It’s vital that they are warmly and efficiently welcomed, as you ‘confidently read’ and respond appropriately to their individual requirements. Equally, when they check out after a stay with us, we want them to leave happy and looking forward to their next visit.

  • Prepare, cook, and serve our breakfast in the breakfast area for in accordance with company standards and procedures

  • Follow and Implement HACCP procedures and keep the stock of food and beverage items in our bar and back of house in line with company and food safety guidelines

  • Learn ins and out of our breakfast and bar menu: how to prepare, serve and explain to our guests which food and beverage options we offer, allergies awareness

  • Assist guests in a friendly and courteous manner and provide outrageous service.

  • Deal with any guest comments politely and positively and make every effort to resolve them. If you cannot resolve them refer to your line manager.

  • Have knowledge of and comply with prevailing licensing laws.

  • Always be friendly and enthusiastic towards out guests.

  • Clean F&B areas after service in accordance with company standards and procedures.

  • Have knowledge of and operate company and statutory Health & Safety procedures e.g., COSHH, Basic Food Hygiene.

  • Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards to include:

  • Ensure all security incidents, accidents and near misses are always logged in a timely manner and brought to the attention of your line manager
