You are much more than a foody. It is your passion to cook and to share a story with the products you use and the way you present your dishes, creating a unique and personalized guest experience. As Sous Chef, you are reporting to the Executive Chef and managing the activities in our kitchen.

Your day will consist of

  • Determining how food should be displayed and creating creative food displays

  • Monitoring the quantity of food that is prepared, and communicate with B&F about menu specials and out-of-stock items

  • Maintaining kitchen logs for food safety programs and food products to ensure the quality of food items (HACCP).

  • Assisting in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counselling, disciplining and motivating the team.

  • Advising guests about the local discoveries

  • Sharing your knowledge about unique discoveries with our guests and colleagues


  • Live life to Discover

  • Have a passion for food and creative food displays

  • Can communicate in Dutch and English

  • Are in the possession of a culinary degree

  • Have at least 2 years of experience in a managing position in the kitchen

  • Able to work in weekends, weekdays and holidays

  • Have knowledge of overall hotel operations
