The Hague Marriott is the largest hotel in The Hague and is ideally located in the middle of the international zone, next to the convention centre World Forum, prime-minister’s residence "Catshuis" and "Kunstmuseum", between city centre and beach. With 306 comfortable rooms and suites, including a Presidential Suite and 24- Meeting rooms, this conference hotel offers the perfect solution for any stay. The hotels F&B department consists of a lounge bar, a breakfast restaurant, banqueting rooms and an executive lounge for our VIP guests.

VIP HOST/HOSTESS

As a VIP Host/Hostess, you are responsible for our most loyal member in our Executive Lounge. Our Executive Lounge is on the ninth floor of the building with an astonishing view over the beach. As a VIP host/hostess you would be responsible for the breakfast of the members and the serving of hors d’oeuvre and drinks in the evening. You will be responsible for the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Greet and welcome the loyal members in a warm, professional, and friendly manner

• Anticipate guest needs and take appropriate action to ensure a high level of customer service

• Ensure VIP clients enjoy themselves throughout their stay within the premises

• Be able to adequately inform guest about the facilities of the organisation

• Prepare the Executive Lounge for the arrival of the members

• Ensure to follow brand standards

• Ensure that the stock is refilled for the following day

• Maintain hygiene, safety and fire standards within the work area to ensure the health of guests and colleagues alike

• 
  

You are:

• Passionate about hospitality

• Have at least 1 year experience in the F&B department

• Flexible to handle different working situations

• Does certainly not have a 9 to 5 mentality

• Good communication skills with preferences of English and Dutch

• Pro-active, reliable and can take the lead

• Strong attention to detail and creative

• Experience in a global Hotel chain and customer role is an advantage

• Excellent grooming standards

• Ability to work independently and in teams
