F&B Associate - PT/FT

What will you do? (Responsibilities)
The Hague Marriott Hotel is the largest conference hotel in The Hague and is ideally located in the heart of the Statenkwartier, next to the World Forum convention center, the Catshuis, and the Kunstmuseum, between the city center and the beach. With 306 comfortable rooms and suites – including the Presidential Suite – and 24 meeting rooms, this classic premium hotel offers the perfect solution for any stay.
What will you be doing?
As an F&B Associate, you are the face of our service. You’ll work in one or more outlets, such as the breakfast restaurant, The Great Room (our bar & brasserie), room service, the Executive Lounge, or during banqueting events. You ensure that our guests feel welcome, assist them with a smile, and know exactly how to deliver high-level service.
Your tasks include:
Welcoming and serving guests in the restaurant, bar, or at events
Taking orders and advising guests about food and beverages
Serving food and drinks
Working with the POS (cash register) system
Ensuring a clean and hospitable working environment
Preparing and cleaning up mise-en-place
What we like to see in you: (Requirements)
You are:
Hospitable, friendly, and have a positive attitude
Proficient in Dutch and/or English
Experience in hospitality is a plus, but not required
Flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Hands-on and have an eye for detail
