Front Office Associate FT
Are you the WONDERFUL Front Office Associate who is delighted to contribute to the future of travel? You will be the first point of contact for guests when they arrive at the hotel. You are also responsible for ensuring that guests have a wonderful experience before, during and after their stay.
What will you do? (Responsibilities)
As a Front Office Associate, you will be the first point of contact for guests when they arrive at the hotel. Your main responsibilities include handling all check-ins, check-outs, and processing payments for all guests. You are also responsible for ensuring that guests have a wonderful experience during their stay, and should be available to answer any inquiries before, during, and after their visit. Additionally, you will need to communicate and coordinate effectively with all departments in the hotel to ensure that departmental targets are met. Specifically, your tasks will include:
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to Marriott standards
• Up-sell with latest departmental incentives
• Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key
• Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit
• Process all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges
• Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns
• Coordinate with all departments in the hotel concerning guest requests
• Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest
• Run daily reports, identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy
• Follow cash handling procedures and complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
• Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets
• Strive to achieve departmental targets
• Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation; comply with local licensing laws
• Assist other departments wherever necessary

YOU ARE:
· Passionate about hospitality and Front Office
· Flexible to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights and weekends
· Positive attitude and commitment to delivering high levels of customer service
· Fluent communication skills in English and Dutch
· Experienced in working with Opera & Marsha
· Experience in a global Hotel chain and customer faced role is an advantage
· Highly organized and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced changing environment: stays calm and professional
· Strong interpersonal skills: ability to get along with diverse personalities, tactful and flexible
