As Front Office intern at Element Amsterdam Hotel you will make our guests feel at home. You will perform all kinds of reception tasks and get acquainted with the Marriott International Brand Standards. After a short training period you will be a full member of the Front Office team!

Element by Westin is part of Marriott International. With its spacious guest rooms the lifestyle brand focuses on both business and leisure guests with stays ranging from one day to several months. The hotel boasts 160 modern rooms, multiple meeting rooms and an extensive roof terrace; all inspired by nature and clever design.
A day in the life....
6:45: Start of a new day at the Front Office! First, you and the team discuss the expectations for the day. How many check-ins and check-outs will you receive?
7:30: A check will be made on all payments. 💰
10:00: You will assist the first guests with a smooth check-out. Did they have a nice experience with us?
12:00: Hotel guests have questions about breakfast, you answer them nicely and kindly! 😄
13:30: Some guests have arrived earlier. You check with housekeeping if a room is already available and help the guests with their check-in.
14:30 Another call comes in, you connect it to the right person! 📞
14:45: It's time to start writing a report of the day and hand your shift over to the evening shift! ✔️
What we like to see in you: (Requirements)
What do we expect from you as Front Office trainee?
Internship of at least 20 weeks starting preferably in June or September.
Living and following a relevant study in the Netherlands.
Shifts from 6:45 am - 3:00 pm or 2:45 pm - 11:00 pm.
Strong written and oral skills (English).
