Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an ambitious, guest-minded, proactive and knowledgeable professional who is willing to supervise and guide the maintenance team within this international hotel environment. Furthermore, we look for a new colleague with at least 5 years of experience in a similar position and with a technical education background.

This position is an addition to the current, stable Maintenance Team, opened to elevate our guest’s experiences and proactively get ready for the future. 


What do we expect from you?

-         The IT, Repair & Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring guest, associate and owner satisfaction and safety.

-         Planning timely and proactive work orders and overseeing preventive maintenance plans.

-         Initiating, proposing and supervising all engineering projects within the hotel, from conception to completion. Varying from large renovation projects which require strategic planning, to smaller less- impactful repairs.

-         Managing the network and server infrastructure in collaboration with our multiple IT partners.

-         Facilitating IT and telephone hardware for guests and colleagues in correspondence with demand and budgets.

-         Work as a liaison for our providers, partners and suppliers.

-         Calculating costs, negotiating contracts, contributing to budgets and judging and approving invoices.

-         Implementation of maintenance plans, procedures and manuals.

-         Supervising the maintenance team, consisting of 4 colleagues.

-         Coordinating, planning and checking the work of external maintenance service providers and other suppliers.

-         Conducting regulatory inspections of various facilities and including the outcomes in (proactive) maintenance plans.

-         Managing all relevant store material, equipment and inventory.

-         Informing Operations Manager in decision making processes related to IT, Repair and Maintenance.

-         Ensuring a perfect operating condition of the facilities, machinery, and building.

-         Managing cost control according to the departmental budget.

-         Checking and maintaining the security CCTV system.

-         Checking and maintaining the Fire, Life and Safety systems.

-         Providing competent hands-on skills to ensure all hotel systems including (but certainly not limited to) electrical, sewage, plumbing, heating and lighting.

-         Critically inspecting brand-new sections of the hotel and striving to keep up the high level of quality delivered.

-         As Head of Department, representing the Maintenance team in several occasions, such as Operations meetings, Head of Department meetings and Monthly safety meetings.

-         Contributing to the hotel’s continuous success in several necessary project groups.

-         Acting as representative of the hotel during Manager-on-Duty-shifts, according a scheduled division.

-         Being in charge of your own personal and professional growth by following in-person and online training, creating a Personal Development Plan, actively using (bi-)weekly catch-ups with Operations Manager, etc.
