Cluster Revenue Manager

The Ghent Marriott hotel stands in the historic city centre, gracing the banks of the Leie River within the medieval harbour. With 150 luxurious bedrooms, 9 meeting and event spaces, a renowned restaurant, and a charming terrace overlooking the canal, it's a beacon of hospitality in the city.
What will you do? (Responsibilities)
Key to success within this role will be the utilization of all revenue management tactics, processes, and procedures responsible for driving room revenue and also ensuring the alignment of brand policy, revenue management, sales and distribution strategy, and central marketing initiatives for 3 properties and potentially more in the pipeline.
As a revenue manager, you will be:
Attending and driving our business meetings ensuring that sales and pricing strategies are based on commercial judgement through effective analysis and reporting
Doing brand positioning: Assist in achieving brand positioning and contribute ideas to brand plans.
Playing a senior role within the hotel commercial team to develop and drive revenue strategies to optimize all available space through all distribution channels
Ensuring that relevant hotel and central commercial team members are actively engaged in all revenue decisions.
Doing Market analysis: Ensuring effective information gathering and analysis is conducted to identify and maximize all possible opportunities and minimize any risks
Doing budgeting: Participate in the delivery of annual budgets for specific areas of the business
Ensuring professional and efficient utilization of all systems, in line with company best practices and standard operating procedures
Integrating with other functions to ensure we exceed our customer's and owner's expectations.
Managing and developing the reservations team.
What we like to see in you: (Requirements)
2+ years of direct experience in revenue management and reservations experience within rooms and/or M&E. Advanced Excel skills.
Strong preference for setting up and using systems to monitor and evaluate information from a wide variety of sources.
Strong preference for analyzing and organizing numerical financial and statistical data.
Strong presentational and influencing skills
Effective coaching skills
Effective communication skills
Highly skilled in organization and planning
Fluent English
Marriott brand and system knowledge is preferred
Pre-hotel opening roadmap implementation
