De grootste uitdaging Sheraton Amsterdam Airport wilt de gastenverwachtingen overtreffen. Pas als onze gasten het gevoel hebben dat ze gewaardeerd, erkend en gastvrij worden ontvangen door onze enthousiaste medewerkers met kennis van zaken, is onze missie geslaagd. De lat ligt hoog: we willen het meest gastvrije team van Schiphol Airport en omstreken zijn. En daarvoor hebben we de beste mensen nodig. Bereid je de aankomsten voor en speel je in op speciale aanvragen en bijzondere reserveringen. Stimuleer je de kamerverkoop door middel van gebruik van verschillende kamerprijzen en het aanbieden van kamersupplementen. Hierbij motiveer je je collega’s om dit ook te doen en zo de afdelingsdoelen te halen. Bespreek en maak je de roosters 3 weken vooruit. Adviseer je over verbeteringen van knelpunten die naar voren komen. Ben je een inspiratie voor je team, de gasten en andere medewerkers in het hotel. Ensure that the room attendants have adequate linens and guest supplies on their trolleys. Ensure that the room attendants have adequate cleaning products, supplies and that the vacuum cleaners are in good working conditions. Inform the relevant room attendants of any VIP rooms prior to guest arrival. Ensure correct and punctual provision of morning and afternoon reports to the Front Desk. Ensure prompt reporting and following up of repairs and maintenance work in all guest room and corridors. Ensure prompt reporting of lost and found articles to the Housekeeping Office. Ensure regular communication with the executive housekeeper throughout the day, in order that all special requests are carried out and that all clean rooms are given back to reception as soon as possible. Enforce housekeeping rules and regulations and encourage room attendants to be courteous and helpful to guests. Follow security procedures with regards to keys, locking of linen rooms and storage rooms. Be helpful and courteous to guests at all times. Follow special instructions as given by the Executive Housekeeper. Save Energy Maintain a neat appearance and high standards of personal hygiene, and wear uniforms as provided and specified by the department. Assist in conducting inventories. All other related jobs.
